Mission statement

Immanuel's Men's Ministry seeks to:

  • Enlist all men in His service
  • Encourage men in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Equip men to develop the personal skills necessary to serve God as Elders, Deacons and other church leaders
  • Engage men in Christian fellowship with other men through Prayer, Bible Study, Worship, Small Group Interaction, and Ministry Activities

It is our desire that every man be:

  • Committed to telling "his story" of God's work in his life
  • Committed to understand and fulfill his biblical role
  • Committed to personal Bible study and prayer
  • Committed to meet with other men for accountability, fellowship, study and prayer

Mark your calendar for October 4-5, 2019 for the IBC Fall Men’s Conference featuring pastor/author, Dr. Stu Weber!

Dr. Stu Weber graduated from Wheaton College in 1967 and holds advanced degrees from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon. A U.S. Army veteran, he was awarded three bronze stars as a Green Beret in Vietnam.  Following seminary, Stu founded and for 32 years, pastored Good Shepherd Community Church, today one of Oregon’s larger church families.  He serves on the governing boards of several regional, national, and international ministry organizations. He has also spoken for Promise Keepers, Men at the Cross, and Iron Sharpens Iron. He also maintains a consistent ministry to the U.S. Military community both in the United States and overseas.

Stu is the best-selling author of several "Gold Medallion finalist" books to include "Tender Warrior", "Four Pillars of a Man’s Heart", "Infinite Impact" and "The Warrior’s Soul".   Stu and his wife Linda live just outside Portland, Oregon. High school sweethearts, they have been married for 50 years, have raised three grown sons, and are now greatly enjoying grand parenting seven grandsons and three granddaughters.

Men of the Bible

The MOB meets Tuesday evenings through May, 6:45pm-8:45pm, Atrium, beginning September 10th.

The MOB gives you an opportunity to develop meaningful and lasting relationships with other men as we study God’s Word together and apply God’s truth in our lives.

Exploring topics of interest from today's headlines, our Summer Sundae Series combines thought-provoking messages with an evening of fellowship.

Toolbox Ministry

This ministry meets small, short-term repair needs for single moms, senior adults, and others in need. Weekends or evenings available to provide minor repairs and services.

Softball Team
