Children's Choir
Grades 1-6
Rehearsal Schedule: Sunday mornings (8:00 or 11:10 service hour, September-May)
Rehearsal Rooms: Room C208, C210, and C211/213
This group helps to lead worship on Sunday mornings throughout the season, including Palm Sunday and Mother's Day. Highlights of the year include singing in the Christmas programs in December, visiting the residents at Aarondale to share music and encouragement, and preparing to lead worship during our end of year program in June. Our primary focus is on glorifying God through the gift of music, both vocally and with a variety of instruments and hand chimes. In addition to music preparation, we utilize a variety of games and activities to create a fun learning environment. We also set aside time to look into God’s Word to learn about why we worship Him.

Youth Choir
Grades 7-12
Rehearsal Schedule: Wednesdays (5:45-6:45pm)
Rehearsal Room: Adult Choir/Seminar Room
This group helps to lead worship on Sunday mornings throughout the year, presenting special music or singing with the adult choir. A highlight of the year is Youth Serve Sunday in January, when we plan/lead worship for all morning services. The youth choir also participates in the Christmas concerts in December and students have the option of participating in the Easter programs. Emphasis is placed on learning to sing in parts, basic music reading skills, and vocal technique. Rehearsal aligns with ISM Small Groups, allowing parents to drop off students for all Wednesday evening programming at 5:45pm.
