About the event
We’re excited to present Beholding Christ: An Evening for Women in the Word with Nancy Guthrie on the evening of Friday, November 13. Through a combination of Bible teaching, congregational singing, and video presentation, we’ll see how we were made to behold God in the face of Jesus Christ.
We’re looking forward to hosting Nancy again to help us see how the whole of the Bible’s story is driving toward the day when we will see Christ face-to-face, and how we can behold him now “as through a mirror dimly” (1 Cor. 13:12) as we gaze upon his beauty day-by-day in his word.
Coffee will be served in the Atrium before the event, and Immanuel Christian Bookstore, along with 10ofThose, will remain open until the end of the evening. We hope you’ll make plans to join us!

WHO MAY ATTEND?
All women including teenagers are welcome to attend. Please invite your friends, family, and neighbors – all women are welcome! (We will not have childcare. We love children but this is a women-only event – nursing infants are welcome.)
WHAT CAN I EXPECT WITH THIS EVENT?
The event will begin at 7:00pm with doors opening at 6:00pm. The program will end at 8:30pm. You can find out about the bookstores that will be open before and after the program below.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Don’t forget your Bible, notebook, pen, and a mind and heart ready to dig into God’s Word.
HOW SHOULD I DRESS?
Casual! Jeans are fine, dresses are fine -- whatever makes you most comfortable.
WILL THERE BE REFRESHMENTS?
Coffee and water will be available in the Atrium prior to the start of the event.
WILL I RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION AFTER REGISTRATION?
You will receive an e-mail confirmation after your registration has been processed. Final event details will be emailed a week before the event. A physical ticket is NOT required for entry. Tickets are not refundable for any reason but can be given to another person.
WILL A BOOKSTORE BE OPEN DURING THE CONFERENCE?
Yes! Our own wonderful Immanuel Christian Bookstore will be open during before and after the event. In addition, 10ofThose is coming for the event and will set up a bookstore in our Atrium. Nancy’s new book, Beholding Christ, will be available! You will be able to shop at the bookstore before the event starting at 6:00pm and following the event for at least 30 minutes. Come ready to buy some great books and resources!
WILL THERE BE A SPACE WHERE I WILL FEEL COMFORTABLE IF I HAVE HEALTH CONCERNS OR A NURSING INFANT?
If you have a health concern, please come to our Welcome counter in the foyer outside our Worship Center where someone will assist you. We also offer a nursing mother’s room down the hallway off the lobby near Door 2 that is available if desired.
