The Grand Life
Grand Life is a senior adult fellowship serving Immanuel’s “senior saints” and others in our local community.
Join us for one of our monthly luncheons to hear about a recent missions trip, informative presentations on health issues and other important concerns, or for a lively performance from the Burke Acoustic Musical Society.
Grand Life also offers outings to places such as Sight & Sound Theater in Pennsylvania or the Bible Museum in Washington, D.C.
All luncheons take place in the Atrium at 11 AM followed by a catered lunch at no cost to you!

Senior Singles Group
Even though IBC as a whole is a loving, supportive community, it still remains that single seniors can face loneliness and isolation. Our singles group provides a space for us to connect with others who share similar life experiences and challenges, encouraging friendships and additional support networks.

Senior Care Ministry
As some in our congregation begin to age and experience the health challenges that often take place during that stage of life, they are not always able to be as faithfully connected to the church as they would like. Accompanying their physical suffering is the inability to regularly attend worship services, Bible studies and fellowship events that are part of the church life that they have known and loved for many years.
By participating as an able-bodied volunteer in a Senior Care Ministry, you will be able to connect with those Senior Adults and offer them encouragement, a listening ear, and serve as a source of connection for them with the church. A ministry of this nature offers opportunity to demonstrate the many “one another’s” that actively characterize the fellowship of a loving and caring church.
