Sean Mornan
Pastor of Outreach and Evangelism
Sean Mornan was born and raised in Queens, NY. The Lord saved him shortly after he graduated from college when a childhood friend confronted him with the truth of Scripture about his sinful life. In 2000, he moved to Maryland and began attending a church in the District of Columbia where he developed a passion for prayer and ministering to men.
In 2008, the Lord directed Sean and his family to Hope Bible Church in Columbia, MD (HBC). He was introduced to the doctrines of grace and systematic theology, which only magnified his love for Jesus Christ, increased his clarity of the gospel, and spurred him on in the discipline of evangelism. Sean served as a deacon at HBC and led various ministries including baptism, evangelism, prayer, men’s and youth.
In 2018, Sean acknowledged God’s calling to pastoral ministry. He pursued an M.Div. at The Master's Seminary Distance location at Immanuel Bible Church (IBC) part-time, while working full-time in corporate investigations. He completed his degree and graduated in May 2026.
In September 2021, Sean resigned from his career of over 20 years and began working at IBC. He is currently serving as the Pastor of Outreach and Evangelism. Sean is married to his wife, Dori, and they have three wonderful sons.
