Good Friday Worship Service

We will gather to remember Christ’s suffering on our behalf at this year’s Good Friday service on Friday, April 3 at 7:00pm. This service is unlike any other in the year; a quiet, somber gathering that gives us an opportunity to reflect on the sufferings of Christ on our behalf in anticipation of Easter Sunday. This year’s service is entitled “The Great Exchange.” We will consider scriptures that tell of the awful effects of our sin – death, punishment, separation from God – and remember how Christ took all these upon himself at the cross. But then the Bible tells us of a Great Exchange where God graciously gives us Christ’s life, purity and fellowship with His Father. Children old enough to follow along will find this service meaningful; the service will give parents the opportunity to later talk to their children about Christ’s sacrificial love.
