The Word of God calls men to live with conviction, courage, and Christlike humility.  We live in a time when biblical manhood is not just neglected–it is under direct assault.  But God’s standard for men has not changed.  Our goal is to equip men to live as godly, servant leaders in their homes, their churches, and the world.

At IBC, our Men’s Ministry exists for one purpose:  to build men who are shaped by the truth of Scripture and anchored in the gospel of Jesus Christ.  It is about calling men to embrace their God-ordained roles as husbands, fathers, brothers, and spiritual leaders–by the power of the Holy Spirit and under the authority of the Word.

We offer many ways to equip men in this calling.  We have men’s Bible studies: Core Strength, which meets on Tuesday mornings, and Men of the Bible, which meets on Tuesday evenings, where we study God’s Word in depth through large group teaching and small group discussion.  We also have discipleship opportunities for men, including our one-on-one Spiritual Mentoring program, as well as our small group “deep discipleship” program known as Every Man a Warrior.  We also offer other special events, such as the Summer Sundae Series, the Men of the Word Conference, and more.

All of our offerings and events are intended to sharpen one another in truth.  Whether you are a new believer or a seasoned saint, we are all called to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ–and to disciple others in the same truth (2 Timothy 2:2).
