Parent & Child Dedication

At Immanuel Bible Church, we affirm that God commands parents to be the primary spiritual influencers in their children’s lives (Deuteronomy 6:4-9). Children are a gift from God and parents should teach them the Word of God, pray for them daily, and model the gospel in their homes. We as a church, desire to support the family in this endeavor through the prayers and ministries of the church. Parent and child dedication is not a ritual leading to salvation, but a simple ceremony that expresses the parent’s commitment to guiding their children in the ways of the Lord.

We have two Parent & Child Dedication Ceremonies each year. The first is in winter or early spring; the second is on Mother’s Day in May. Attendance at our Parent & Child Dedication Class is required for first time applicants. New families may register for the January Ceremony by completing this registration form. You’ll be contacted…
